I have known David over the course of several years in both my professions as a plastic surgeon (an extreme form of body modification) and as a fire performer. I can say that having worked with burn patients at the world famous Brook Army Burn Center, to see someone overcome such an injury and then develop fire arts skills is unheard-of!
